Davis is a native of Memphis, TN. He is the author of five books, including “A Dangerous Journey for Those Who Become Jesus’ Disciple.” He currently resides in Williamsburg, VA with his wife, Myrlene and their three children: Isaac, Nandi & Joel. • We look forward to a special Sunday hearing from Rev. today our family ministry staff had our Tuesday morning meeting surrounded by God’s beautiful creation. We celebrated how God is on the move in the lives of kids, students & families in our church, and continued to lift up the heartbroken in our city. Today we stood together to remember the lives of those so quickly taken from this earth on Friday. We prayed together, remembered each individual by name, and looked to Our Heavenly Father for our only hope in these unthinkable times. In the midst of troubled hearts we also focused on & celebrated the next generation. We were led in worship from our student band. We prayed for our graduating seniors & closed our service with the innocent prayers from kids & students of Spring Branch. It was a sweet & special morning.
